At Balsam Ridge Christmas Tree Farm our philosophy has always been about traditions and family. We are extremely appreciative and thank our customers for the continued support they have provided over the years and look forward to serving friends of old and new for years to come.
Many of you have seen the transformation of the landscape over the years now in our fourth rotation for many of our fields. In the spring we are continually planting new trees to meet the needs of our customers and planning on how we can improve to serve our customers better. In 2007 we expanded our operation to include a sugarhouse and a gift shop where we welcome you to come in from the cold after selecting your Christmas tree to enjoy a hot beverage.
We invite you to visit us at our farm and create a tradition for your family; or let us bring a piece of Maine to you by enjoying the many products we offer here at Balsam Ridge and also on-line.

At Balsam Ridge, we pride ourselves in providing you not only quality service but also quality products and an opportunity to create memories for you and your family for years to come.
We are a family owned and operated Christmas Tree Farm established in 1993. The farm itself is on 50 acres of land; purchased for the purpose of creating a Christmas Tree Farm. The property was hardwood forest which has gradually been developed into fields. Needless to say we have come a long way; you will see that we pride ourselves in keeping our farm up to date and are continually working to make improvements yearly.
Here at the farm, we are busy working year round in our trees to provide our customers with the best possible trees available.
Spring:Maple Season preparation begins. Awaiting the warm days and cold nights for the perfect conditions of maple syrup production. Participate in Maine Maple Sunday. Planting of seedlings to replace the trees previously sold. Our goal is to always plant more trees than are harvested. We are planting yearly to accommodate the needs of our customers. |
Summer:We are busy working in the fields. The trees are carefully examined and sheared to their natural characteristics. Each tree is unique and provides our customers with a wide selection of trees to choose from. Shearing and mowing will take us into our fall season. |
Fall:Preparation for the Christmas season begins. Boughs are collected from the farm and used for wreaths, garland and centerpieces. |
Winter:A short break before planning ahead for the next year. Preparation of Maple Season begins. |
May your tree contribute to your finest Christmas ever, and may the true meaning of Christmas guide you through the year ahead.
FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS HAVE A HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON…
